ABOUT MVA METHOD FOR SHORT CIRCUIT ANALYSIS
The MVA method implemented in Short Circuit Analytic V1.0 software program is a modification of the Ohmic method where the impedance of a circuit equals the sum of the impedances of components constituting the circuit. Using the admittances, it follows that the reciprocal of the system impedance is the sum of the reciprocals of the admittances of the components. By very definition, the circuit component admittance is the maximum current or KVA at unit voltage which would flow through the circuit or component to a short circuit or fault when supplied from a source of infinite capacity. In practice, the MVA method is used by separating the circuit into components and calculating each component with its own infinite bus.

AFA V5.0 - NEW FEATURES JUST ADDED

You can now save warning labels in German and Italian languages using AFA V5.0 software program. If you require alternate label layouts, or arc flash warning labels in languages other than listed in the AFA V5.0 contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements

sample arc flash label in Italian created using AFA V5.0.6 software

sample arc flash label in German created using AFA V5.0.6 software

We have included an alternate 4 x 6 inches label layout without the header "Warning" to make the program compatible with pre-printed arc flash warning labels with "Warning" and/or "Danger" heading, in particular  BPP11-L34 printer and label THTEL-25-483-1-WA from Brady.

We have also added two more text fields for labels created using AFA V5.0 software that can accommodate custom information such as engineer name, project name etc.

You can use your existing AFA V5.0 registration credentials to activate the program. Own an older version of Arc Flash Analytic and would like to update to the newest AFA V5.0? Call us to qualify for $100.00 discount off the advertised AFA V5.0 price of $290.00. Have any suggestion on how to improve AFA V5.0? Let us know.
